Arc has introduced an inflation hedge on the latest tranche of its Stepped Kickout Plan. The vehicle has a six-year term and pays out at the end of any period if the FTSE is at or above the level at outset. It would pay 11% on the first anniversary, 22% on the second and so on, with a possible 66% return if the index is only higher at the end of the term. If the plan runs for the full term and the index is down, capital is returned in full with RPI-based gains added.
