Cartesian Capital Partners, the boutique set up between Britannic Asset Management and former SVM duo David Stevenson and Andrew Kelly, is to launch on 21 December. While the name of the firm is still subject to legal approval, it will immediately come to the market with the Britannic Cartesian UK Opportunities fund. This will be swiftly followed by an as yet unnamed long/short vehicle modelled on the SVM Saltire hedge fund.
