Funds run by former heads of Merseyside Pension fund use external managers for areas outside UK equities and bonds
Midas Capital has seen inflows of over £30m into its two retail funds over February and March. The fund has benefited from increased interest upon reaching its third-year track record on 8 April. Run from Liverpool by former managers of the £3bn Merseyside Pension fund (MPF), the group's Balanced Income and Balanced Growth portfolios also boast strong numbers, both ranking second in their respective Balanced Managed and Cautious Managed peer groups since launch.
