Advisers used to a dearth of information about with-profits funds are facing an overwhelming amount of information as providers comply with new regulations. FSA directives oblige life offices to produce items such as Principles and Practices of Financial Management (PPFM) and Realistic Balance Sheets (RBS). Many of these are substantial documents, with AKG Actuaries and Consultants reporting the longest PPFM seen is around 200 pages.
