Jupiter is to Jersey-list its Offshore Portfolio fund of funds (Fof) next month to open it up to Sipp investment. At present, the £24m Jersey-based fund, managed by John Chatfeild-Roberts and Peter Lawery, is an unregulated and unrecognised open-ended vehicle, meaning Jupiter cannot market it to onshore investors. The listing will allow it to do so. Gordon Davidson, joint managing director of Jupiter, said the group is awaiting the implementation of Consultation Paper 185 to see how it can market the fund to a wider audience.
