The top-performing Hansa Trust generated nearly four times the returns of the FTSE All-Share, buoyed by its largest holding acquired nearly 50 years ago. More than half of the trust's 27% NAV increase in the year to 31 March stemmed from its stake in Ocean Wilsons, a holding since 1959. At the start of the trust's financial year, Ocean Wilsons was valued at £44.26m before rising 69% to end the year worth £74.82m.
