Insight's head of portfolio strategy Ana Cukic-Munro has taken a seat on the board of the Aberdeen Asian Income Trust, into which her team has invested several million pounds. This comes as Aberdeen announces it has raised some £100m for the vehicle. Both the Insight fund of funds team and Aberdeen Asset Management have insisted Cukic-Munro's presence on the board is not a condition of investment, and said she is there for her investment expertise.
