Group adds to commodities range with precious metal portfolio, accessing market through ETFs, equities and futures
Schroders is launching what it believes to be the first long-only vehicle offering exposure to gold and metals through the futures market. Gold & Metals will sit in the Alternative Solutions range alongside Agriculture and Commodity, which together have around $9bn AUM, and Global Energy. Scheduled to launch on 1 July, it will be co-managed by Robert Howell, who runs the Commodity fund, and analyst Paula Bujia.
