Norwich Union is to increase bonus rates on some of its with-profits range by up to 1% from 1 July, following a mid-year review. For with-profit bond investment in the main CGNU and closed Commercial Union With-Profits (Culac), made prior to October 1998, regular bonus rates have increased from 2.50% to 3.25%. For with-profit pension policies invested before that point rates have risen from 3% to 3.5%. On conventional endowment policies the bonus on bonus rates has increased from 1% to 2% on the CGNU fund and 0.5% to 1.5% on Culac. These increases will mean higher rates for more than 600,...
