Stuart Fraser has cut holdings and refined the investment process on the Aegon European fund since joining in February as head of the desk. Aegon has since named him lead manager on the fund as former co-manager Alastair Duffy concentrates on other mandates. Fraser said the portfolio was looking stale when he arrived and was probably not traded much in anticipation of his arrival.
