Despite its unconstrained approach, Lazard offering looks to hold stocks in at least seven of UK's largest sectors
Having recently celebrated its first anniversary, the Lazard UK Omega fund was launched on the back of a rising demand for unconstrained, stockpicking portfolios. Managed according to the bottom-up investment process applied to all Lazard funds, the product is jointly run by Tony Willis and Alan Custis. The concentrated portfolio, which holds just 25 to 30 stocks, is based on the UK Alpha fund, also run by the two managers, but is far less constrained by its benchmark.
