Manager on Melchior portfolio shifts assets out of Hong Kong in light of rising interest rates

Having launched the Melchior Greater China Opportunities fund in April this year, manager Henrietta Luk has already had to make dramatic asset allocation decisions to keep up with changes in the region, including moving a large sum out of Hong Kong. Despite this, Luk's rigorous process of evaluating companies has helped the fund produce a return of 14.36% from launch in April to the end of October 2005, according to Bloomberg data.
