Newton and Swip are launching multi-asset portfolios seeking cash-plus returns from a blend of equities, bonds and alternatives, while JPMorgan is also in the early stages of developing a similar product. First to launch was Newton's Phoenix Multi-Asset fund on 27 November, originally established as a unit trust within the group's private client business and also available as an institutional offering since April.
