Schroders this week brings out its two retail multi-manager funds, which it is running in conjunction with Standard & Poor's. Launching with an initial charge of 5.25%, an annual management fee of 1.5% and minimum investment of £1,000, the two consist of the Schroder S&P Strategic Balanced and Schroder S&P High Alpha funds. The more conservative Balanced fund will invest up to 85% in equities, 20%in bonds and up to 10% in cash and have the target of outperforming the Lipper Balanced Manager sector by 2% per year after fees.
