Fidelity is cementing its plans to become a leading provider of retirement solutions as it invests further into pension-related funds. The recently launched Global Diversified Pensions vehicle and last year's Diversified Growth are being positioned as a huge priority for its multi-manager business. Fidelity said its strength as an investment manager and US heritage give it an advantage when taking on more traditional life and pensions companies.
