Investors will be able to buy and sell gold on the London Stock Exchange for the first time via the listing of World Gold Council subsidiary Gold Bullion Securities. Listing on 9 December, the gold-backed securities offer a means of investing in the market without having to take physical delivery of gold. Denominations are as small as one-tenth of an ounce of bullion.
