Baring Asset Management has appointed Kevin Lorkins as head of sterling fixed income. He will join Barings on 1 June and will be based in the company’s headquarters in London. Lorkins will be responsible for setting strategy in fixed income sterling and developing the sterling fixed income product area. He joins from Morley Asset Management where he was head of UK Fixed Income and responsible for some £12bn in assets, including UK fixed and index linked Government bonds and UK credit mandates.
