Nomura Asset Management has teamed up with Threadneedle with the latter running a segregated European High Yield Bond mandate on its domestic multi-manager platform. The mandate, which is available to Japanese investors, will be managed by Roman Gaiser, who runs the Threadneedle European High Yield Bond fund. Madeline Forrester, head of UK distribution at Threadneedle, said the group is seeing continued growth of demand from both retail and institutional investors for income products.
