Royal London has handed its Ethical Bond vehicle to recent hire Paola Binns, allowing fixed income head Sajiv Vaid to focus on the £330m Corporate Bond Trust. Ethical Bond, launched in January, was established by Vaid in conjunction with ethical screen provider EiRIS, and is now fully under Binns’ management after a four-month handover. Both vehicles adhere to the same philosophy of an investment grade focus with a long-term commitment to select unrated bonds and beleaguered financials.
