Tim Sweeting has joined Resolution from Credit Suisse as head of alternatives. He joins ahead of the group’s merger with Pearl’s investment arm Axial which will create a £75bn asset management business and will be called Ignis. Sweeting was head of absolute return strategies at Credit Suisse for EMEA distribution. He has 20 years of experience in financial markets including stints at Deutche Asset Management, UBS O’Connor and HSBC Investment Bank.
