Blue Oar will be extending its presence into the Singapore and Malaysian markets following the acquisition of stockbroker and discretionary fund manager Astaire. The Aim-listed investment bank that has recently launched an asset management arm, has applied to the London Stock Exchange to buy Astaire for £1.67m in cash and shares. London-based Astaire is an independent stock broker and bespoke private client discretionary fund manager with business overseas that Blue Oar said will compliment its presence in Australia.
