Fidelity's managing director of multi-manager Simon Ellis will leave the firm at the end of January. Ellis' role is one of a number of positions Fidelity International plans to make redundant as it reduces headcount by about 300. The former UK retail head at Axa Investment Managers, Ellis joined Fidelity in May 2006 to lead multi-manager development and distribution. Richard Skelt and Geraldine Stewart will remain as co-heads of Fidelity's multi-manager team. "We are as still committed to multi-manager solutions as ever," a Fidelity spokesperson says.
