Legg Mason’s Batterymarch subsidiary is offering an Emerging Markets Equity fund looking to maximise opportunities in Brazil, Mexico and the Gulf regions. Lead manager is Curtis Butler, who also runs the Legg Mason Asia Pacific and Batterymarch Pacific Equity funds. The Dublin-domiciled launch is benchmarked against the MSCI Emerging Markets Index, seeking long-term capital appreciation using a bottom-up, model-driven process.
