cru Investment Management has launched two products giving investors access to sub-Saharan Africa’s agriculture and food production sectors. The Channel Islands-listed Africa Invest fund gives exposure to farming, machinery, irrigation and food distribution in Malawi. It has a minimum investment of €50,000 and is available to high net worth investors and institutional pension schemes. The Africa Invest Capital Protected Plan is a structured product giving capital protection to investors in the Africa Invest fund if money is held in the plan for the full seven-year term.
