Dominic Rossi is to leave his head of equities post at Threadneedle to become CIO at Gartmore. He was responsible for all equity products at the Threadneedle and previously had lead management responsibilities for the Latin American fund before passing over the mandate to Jules Mort. He has been at Threadneedle for 11 years. CIO Sarah Arkle, will take over as head of equities in the interim. At Gartmore, Rossi will be responsible for overseeing the whole investment division. The group has been without a CIO since 2005 when Quintin Price left the role to go to Merrill Lynch.
