Franklin Templeton will add three fixed income products to its onshore range next year, based on multi-billion dollar offshore portfolios. Two are known to be versions of existing offshore funds, Templeton Global Bond and Templeton Global Total Return, which are both managed by Michael Hasenstab in the US. The third is believed to be based on the Templeton European Total Return fund, which is jointly managed by Hasenstab and the UK-based John Beck.
