New Star is proposing a £1.25 per share return of capital to shareholders, following its planned LSE listing in June 2007. Annual results for 2006 released today show the company’s net revenue is up 41% to £133.9m from £95.1m in 2005, with assets under management up 26% to £22.8bn at 31 December 2006. John Duffield, chairman at New Star, said the company’s first full year as a quoted public company has been one of record organic growth in retail business, and good returns both to customers and shareholders.
