Zurich Investment Management has launched a Discretionary Probate Trust through its investment brand Sterling. The product is designed to speed up the process of distributing an estate as it eliminates the need to apply for probate. Zurich said the Trust is not designed to be an inheritance tax solution, although it does have a separate range of trusts that mitigate IHT liability.
