Property manager Guy Morrell is to run the UK and Mena multimanager business as James Hughes is relocated to Hong Kong. Morrell already runs the global real estate investment team and heads up the Open Global Property fund after joining HSBC in 2004. He will continue to report to chief executive of HSBC MultiManager Joanna Munro and his new role takes effect from 22 August. In Hong Kong, Hughes is to take over as head of multimanager Asia Pacific. He will also continue in the position of global head of business development for the multimanager division.
