Aberdeen Asset Management has bought a Germany-based property fund management firm from Dresdner Bank for €110m. Aberdeen is buying Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Immobilienfonds mbH, which has estimated assets under management of €6.4bn. The assets include a number of German, Europe-wide and global property funds. The acquisition will bring the value of property assets under Aberdeen's management to about £15.7bn.
