Fidelity is adding a sterling share class to its Global Inflation Linked Bond Sicav and is considering an Oeic version later in the year. The Sicav, which launched last week, is currently invested in 80 investment grade bonds worldwide, with inflation linking to protect against the growing global phenomenon. Head of financial institutions Michael Jones said: “Everyone is worried about inflation, but no one seems to be doing anything about it.” The Sicav has currently taken around £30m, which Jones said is pleasing without having run advertising or external marketing.
