Why MyFolio range could be bigger than GARS


Fund of funds head Bambos Hambi outlines his ambitious plans for Standard Life Investments' multi-manager range.

Earlier this year Standard Life Investments (SLI) boosted its multi-manager offering, bringing on board Bambos Hambi to spearhead the group’s MyFolio fund range. Hambi, formerly head of multi-manager at Gartmore and Rothschild Asset Management, was appointed head of SLI’s fund of funds management in March. He has overall responsibility for the MyFolio range of 15 risk-based portfolios. The range has three layers: MyFolio Market invests in tracker funds; MyFolio Managed is a fettered range of SLI funds; while MyFolio Multi-Manager is comprised of external funds.   Hambi’s investm...
