Investec manager brings wider precious metals mandate into Global Gold, using other investments such as a physical platinum ETF to drive returns

Daniel Sacks has been co-managing the £62m Investec Global Gold fund since its launch in April 2006. The fund, which sits in the IMA Specialist sector, is up 53.9% over three years to 9 November, while over one year the vehicle is up 97.2%. Investec Global Gold aims to achieve long-term capital growth primarily through investing in equities issued by companies involved in gold mining and in derivatives.
