The recent economic crisis has seen a spate of dark comparisons with previous recessions, but are there really any lessons to be learnt from looking back and can it help investors in the current situation? Peter Bickley, chief economist at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management thinks this strategy may be a bit of a red herring.
