Investors must protect themselves as no region is immune from negative fallouts from geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty, explain Jason Vaillancourt and Robert Schoen, co-heads of global asset allocation at Putnam Investments, and co-managers of the CF Canlife Total Return fund.

The global economic recovery continues to be uneven in nature, with a clear divergence in monetary policy beginning to emerge.
