Why buy an investment trust on a platform? The same administration advantages apply to accessing investment trusts via platforms as they do for open-ended and other funds. Investors can hold investments from a number of different fund management groups under one ‘umbrella’, meaning they can see the value of their entire ISA or SIPP holding in one go.
