Kully Samra, UK branch director at Charles Schwab, examines how the US recovery is progressing ahead of a key Federal Reserve meeting to discuss the tapering of QE next week.

Over the past two months, the US market has recovered and investors have seen new record highs on many of the major indices. With an improvement in exports, rising capital spending and the consistent improvement in the housing market, growth is hoped to be seen in the US economy over the coming months. We do not believe market growth will continue to be as strong as was hoped.
