The ifs Student Investor Challenge aims to educate children about the principles of investment and how the stock market works by offering them an opportunity to compete for top prizes with other national teams

The annual ifs Student Investor Challenge, sponsored by Deutsche Bank and Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust, equips thousands of young people with the knowledge and capability to manage their own finances, both now and in the future, by providing a practical insight into stock markets, savings and investments. The Challenge is operated by financial education charity the ifs School of Finance. It is free to enter, open to teams of four students aged between 14 and 19, and ordinarily attracts in the region of 30,000 participants each year.
