Shift into equities delivers average return of 26.8% over one year, with Henderson Global Strategic Capital top of performance tables over the period
Managers in the IMA Active Managed sector have taken advantage of the freedom to go 100% into equities by cashing in on the stock market rally that ran till April. The average fund in the peer group is up 26.8% over the 12 months to 17 May, according to Morningstar. Graham French’s M&G Managed Growth fund is one of the largest funds in the sector, and has achieved consistently top quartile returns since its 1994 launch.
