Rensburg UK Managers' Focus Trust manager ascribes lift in returns to sector turnaround

Rensburg UK Managers' Focus Trust's performance has picked up due to dramatic hikes in the small- and mid-cap sectors this year, according to co-manager Colin Morton. He says despite the fund suffering throughout late 2007 and early 2008 (having launched in September 2006) as equity markets took a hit and small- and mid-cap stocks in particular declined, the vehicle slid over one year to its current position of 234 out of 307 funds in the UK All Companies sector.
