Tabberer revives Swip US funds

Manager has improved returns across five-strong US range since taking over in 2007

Swip's bottom-rung US fund range has undergone a sea change since the appointment of Ian Tabberer as lead manager in April 2007. Patricia Wilson, previously lead manager on the group's five US mandates, had struggled to deliver upper-quartile results in the final years of her tenure. As an ex-Royal Navy submarine officer, Tabberer, who had just six years' previous investment industry experience, was a bold appointment as lead US fund manager by the group.
