Stockpicking key as markets grow more volatile

Liontrust's Jeremy Lang tops UK All Companies peer group over three years, with his eponymous approach identifying stocks able to surprise the market

Strong stock selection against a tough market background has marked out the top-performing UK All Companies funds over the last three years. The top-ranked fund over the period to 2 June is Liontrust First Growth, headed up by Jeremy Lang. Second best was Rensburg UK Mid Cap Growth run by Paul Spencer, followed by Threadneedle UK Accelerando and Ashton Bradbury's Old Mutual Select Mid Cap fund in the fourth spot.
