From early August onwards fund distributors were forced to assess a client's sustainability preferences under MIFID II in the EU. As with other regulations, the FinDatEx group defined an industry standard for data transfer across the different stakeholders. As of the end of August, more than 90,000 share classes across more than 280 fund managers reported their sustainability information in this data format.
