J.P. Morgan AM brings Global Bond Opportunities onshore

J.P. Morgan Asset Management is launching an onshore version of its Luxembourg-domiciled Global Bond Opportunities fund.

The UK-domiciled version of the fund, JPM Global Bond Opportunities, will be co-managed by Nick Gartside, Bob Michele, and Iain Stealey, who also run the offshore fund. The fund is an actively managed, unconstrained portfolios of fixed income best ideas. It targets a total return through investing outside the benchmark index in a broad selection of sectors, regions, and currencies, as well as derivatives. The existing $367m (£276m) SICAV strategy currently has 40% invested outside the US and a quarter of the portfolio in sub-investment grade bonds. The offshore fund was launched in...
