Former SWIP distribution head Addison joins Brooks Macdonald

Kevin Addison has joined the funds arm of Brooks Macdonald as head of sales.

Addison (pictured) joins the firm from SEI Investments where he spent two years heading UK and European distribution. At Brooks Macdonald Funds he will be responsible for managing the sales team and broker desk. Addison has a lengthy background in sales, working as a sales manager for Gartmore from 2003 to 2008 before spending four years at SWIP in a variety of sales roles, latterly as head of wholesale distribution. The appointment follows an active year for Brooks Macdonald, which saw a 28% rise in funds under management to June 2014, thanks largely to a stream of acquisitions.
