UK outflows at £1.2bn in March as investors slowly return to funds after difficult quarter

UK equity outflows stood at £1.2bn in March amid "modest inflows" overall for the open-ended space during the final month of Q1, according to the Investment Association (IA).

The latest figures came after in Q1, UK equities bled £4.2bn, the "worst" quarter on record, the IA said. Overall, investors funnelled £507m into funds in March, as inflows were boosted by investors using up their ISA allowances before the end of the tax year.
