abrdn rejoins FTSE 100 as Home REIT freefalls from FTSE 250

Edinburgh-headquartered abrdn has returned to the FTSE 100 after one quarter out in the cold, while short seller target Home REIT has crashed out of the FTSE 250.

Effective from 19 December 2022, abrdn will re-enter the index of the UK's largest companies, with the firm's market capitalisation on 29 November large enough to make the grade.
