Schroders to change name and objective of Global Property Income Maximiser

Schroders is set to alter the name and investment objective of its Global Property Income Maximiser fund, co-managed by Thomas See, Hugo Machin (pictured) and Tom Walker.

The proposed changes would see an amendment to the fund's investment objective, and its name would also change to Schroder Global Real Estate Securities Income to reflect this. Currently, the fund invests in REITs, equity and equity-related securities and debt securities globally, using a covered call options strategy, the Maximiser Overlay, to enhance its income.
