BlackRock slashes fees on five equity trackers

BlackRock has reduced the ongoing charges figure (OCF) on five of its most popular index funds with nearly £16bn in assets under management.

They will have their charges cut with effect from 11 August, applicable to the 'clean' D unit class of each affected fund. The five funds - the £650m BlackRock 100 UK Equity Tracker, £8.7bn UK Equity Tracker, £800m US Equity Tracker, £2.9bn North American Equity Tracker and £3bn Continental European Equity Tracker - are part of the BlackRock Collective Investment Funds (BCIF) range.
