Causer and Read's top fund to be renamed to reflect global approach

Invesco Perpetual is to change the name of Paul Causer and Paul Read's top-performing European High Yield bond fund to better reflect its global investment approach.

The name of the fund will change to Invesco Perpetual High Yield as of 16 December, removing the reference to its European focus. “We are taking this opportunity to amend the fund name to more accurately reflect the fund’s ability to invest in markets outside Europe,” a spokesperson said. The group added the change will not alter the fund’s strategy or the way it is managed. The focus of the fund in recent months, however, has remained firmly on sterling and euro-denominated debt.
